Vestar, the largest privately held shopping center owner and manager in the western United States, is excited to announce the new wave of tenants at Chandler’s Las Tiendas Village, enhancing the retail, beauty, and fitness offerings in the East Valley. Home to national retailers such as HomeGoods and Sprouts, Las Tiendas Village has experienced steady expansion in recent years with the addition of Barro’s Pizza, Lou Malnati’s, World of Sourdough, Macayo’s, and Starbucks.Major department store,

Marshalls will be ready to serve the Chandler community this November, just in time for the holiday season, and Body20, a boutique fitness studio, is on track to open in the first half of 2025. Beauty supply store Happy Beauty, luxury lash spa Revelashons, and child-focused hair salon Sit Still Kids have recently opened their doors at the premier retail destination located at 2925 S. Alma School Rd. These new tenants join existing favorites such as specialty retailer Five Below, waxing and hair removal service Sugar Sugar, and martial arts school MUV Martial Arts, all of which opened in late 2023.

“Las Tiendas continues to evolve into a prime shopping destination,” said Harrison Cole, leasing and development manager at Vestar. “We’re thrilled to welcome these new additions and offer more retail and dining options to locals and visitors alike. Bringing these businesses together in one location allows us to better serve a community that values quality, convenience, and variety.”

Western Retail Advisors brokers Ryan Desmond, Bryan Ledbetter and Katie Weeks serve as the center’s exclusive leasing brokers.

“Las Tiendas is a benchmark of post-pandemic retail success, converting vacancies created by bankruptcy or shrinking retail footprints into thriving spaces occupied by sought-after tenants,” said Ledbetter, senior vice president, Western Retail Advisors and a resident of the Ocotillo trade area. “The property is a case study in the power of leasing and Vestar’s ability to develop well-designed shopping destinations that serve as hubs of commerce, convenience, and community connection.”

Las Tiendas Village serves as a centerpiece of Chandler’s established Ocotillo neighborhood, providing more than 200,000 square feet of prime retail and restaurant space on the northeast corner of Queen Creek and Alma School roads in Chandler, Arizona. The property is currently over 95% leased.
