Makenna brings over a decade of experience in commercial real estate brokerage and development, specializing in tenant representation for national, franchise, and local retail brands. She has worked with clients including Barry’s Bootcamp, Allbirds, Drybar, Perspire Sauna Studios, and JETSET Pilates.

Before joining Western Retail Advisors, Makenna worked at Evergreen Development, where she supported acquisition, entitlement, and leasing efforts for retail projects in Arizona. Most recently, she served as Director of Real Estate at redC, a real estate and construction consulting firm, overseeing national site selection and real estate strategy for emerging franchise concepts.

An Arizona native, Makenna graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Business Communication. She is a member of ICSC and, outside of work, enjoys teaching Lagree fitness classes, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their golden retriever in Phoenix.
