As a partner for Western Retail Advisors, and lead for its Southern California office, John oversees both landlord and tenant representation practices, applying expertise and insight from his more than 15 years in the commercial real estate industry.
Recognized as a top broker in retail tenant representation throughout Southern California, John has delivered more than $1.2 billion, in retail asset transactions. Clients continually benefit from his innovation in market and trade area analysis, competitor analysis, lease negotiation, and execution of roll-out strategies.

John’s high-profile clients have included Chipotle, Jack in the Box, Jersey Mikes Subs, Panera Bread, Mother’s Market, Quick Quack Car Wash, and Wingstop.

A three-time recipient of The Irvine Company ‘Broker of the Year’ award and an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, John received his bachelor’s degree in business administration, from the University of Mississippi. In addition, he was a scholarship athlete for the Ole Miss football team and is currently an active member of Big Brothers Big Sisters, of Orange County.
