Jared Cauffield, Associate, joined Western Retail Advisors in 2019. Jared brings over 12 years of experience in project and client management for a wide variety of real estate investment projects.

Growing up in a small, family-owned-and-operated store, retail is deeply engrained in Jared’s experience. After college, Jared began his career in real estate, serving as Managing Partner at Pachira Partners, LLC, where he purchased and operated a portfolio of student rentals. Since then, he has worked across many aspects of the real estate industry including sourcing investment properties, providing initial underwriting via market research and property analysis, and even swinging hammers on his own construction projects.

With experience on all sides of the real estate process—including as an owner-operator himself—Jared is closely in touch with his clients’ needs. His diverse experience combined with his multifaceted approach enables Jared to creatively and efficiently execute on his clients’ needs through the leverage of his professional network and through the use of industry-leading technology and market data. Jared’s current landlord clients include Vestar, Thompson Thrift, ViaWest, National Real Estate Development. His tenant clients currently include Torchy’s Tacos, Mendocino Farms, Copper Branch, Putt Shack, Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids, and Pinky Nails & Spa.

Jared is a graduate of The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and resides in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife, Danica, his newborn son, Landon, and their chiweenie, Charlie.
