Eric Termansen founded Western Retail Advisors in 2001 and leads the firm today, overseeing operations while maintaining an active tenant brokerage practice. The company was purpose-built from Eric’s firsthand experience working for multiple retailers and has grown to represent more than 225 tenants and 15 million square feet of consumer-focused real estate.

Eric is personally responsible for over 900 anchor-lease transactions and directed a significant portion of PetSmart’s national growth. Since founding WRA, he has guided national expansion programs for some of the country’s most successful retailers and consulted on corporate M&A. More recently, Eric and his team have built a substantial practice representing many of the nation’s largest shopping center owners and developers. Selected tenant clients include PetSmart, Equinox, Harkins Theatres, Target, Whole Foods, and RH. Eric earned a BA in Economics from Western University in Ontario. He is an active member of ICSC, Vistage, Realty Resources, and ULI. Raised in Vancouver, he has lived in Arizona for decades, where he and his family support a range of local arts, political, and charitable organizations.
