Small Business Administration to Offer Disaster Assistance to Small Businesses Amid COVID-19 Impact

The U.S. Small Business Administration is offering low-interest federal disaster loans for working capital to Arizona small businesses suffering substantial economic injury as a result of COVID-19.

SBA acted under its own authority, as provided by the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act that was recently signed by the President, to declare a disaster following a request received from Gov. Douglas A. Ducey on March 16, 2020.

The disaster declaration makes SBA assistance available in the entire state of Arizona and the neighboring counties below.

Neighboring California counties: Imperial, Riverside and San Bernardino; Neighboring Colorado county: Montezuma; Neighboring New Mexico counties: Catron, Cibola, Grant, Hidalgo, McKinley and San Juan;Neighboring Nevada counties: Clark and Lincoln;Neighboring Utah counties: Kane, San Juan and Washington.
